The ferries are running, the ferries are running!!! Make sure you have all your lodging sorted out and then head on over to the island for a memorable time! There is always an event or activity to add to the fun on the island, but make sure you plan out the weekend you wan ahead of time because they fill up fast in the summer!

Every year we play the guessing game of when the Miller Ferry will start running from Port Clinton to Put-in-Bay. This year, the guessing is over early! The Miller Ferry started running last Friday, March 4th, and has begun a regular schedule for the season (weather permitting). For this first week, trips will leave Put in Bay at 8:30AM, 9:30AM, 10:30AM & 2:00PM, 3:00PM, 4:00PM. Trips leaving Catawba will be at 9:00AM, 10:00AM, 11:00AM & 2:30PM, 3:30PM, 4:30PM. read more


Put-in-Bay Events You Should Attend this Summer


In the Southwest corner of the Lake Erie Basin, there is a little island called South Bass Island. This island is home to the famous, some may say infamous, summer boating town of Put-in-Bay, Ohio. Visitors come from near and far to enjoy the summer activities both on and off the water from April 1st through October 31st. (The island is usually ice-locked with no ferry service the rest of the year.)
