A weeklong arts program for children teaches various crafts and activities on the back porch at Perry’s Victory & International Peace Memorial Visitor Center. There will be an art and craft for kids each day from 11 to 3 p.m. There will also be a dance performance presented by SMAG Dance Collective on Thursday, June 21st at 6 p.m. at the same location.
Arts on Erie is a free hands-on workshop for youth and the young at heart with a different project being offered each day at Put-in-Bay. Area artists conduct the workshops that in the past have included painting, clay work and print making. The Park supplies art materials and space on the back porch of the Perry’s Monument Visitor Center for this program that is open to the general public. There are two sessions offered each day. The first is 10 am to noon, and the second is from 1 pm to 3 pm.
