What’s Happening at Your Local Library?
Monday, March 3rd – 10 a.m.: Preschool Story Time – Join us for a half hour of reading, song and a craft to take home. Parents and caregivers are asked to stay with their children for this winter event. No registration required.
Wednesday, March 5th – 1 p.m.: “Take a Break” Book Club – We thought we needed a different kind of book club. Read a book of your choosing that is a biography. Each month that we meet a new genre will be suggested. We will be meeting in the library where you can relax with a warm cup of coffee or tea. No registration required.
Thursday, March 13th: It’s National Potato Chip Day! – It’s National Potato Chip Day! Everyone visiting Erie Islands Library today will receive a free bag of chips. Get there early so you don’t miss out!
Wednesday, March 19th – 5:30 p.m.: Words & Wine Book Club – Join us at Put-in-Bay Yacht Club and share a book you have read while enjoying a beverage of your own choosing. Even if you haven’t had time to read, you are welcome to join us to hear what others are suggesting. We can’t wait to hear what you have been reading! New adult members are always welcome. We will meet at Put-in-Bay Yacht Club. No registration necessary.
Monday, March 31st – 10 a.m.: Make Your Own Marble Candle Holder – Do you love candles? Want to add a brilliant glow to your home? Just us to make your own candle holder out of marbles. It’s easy and fun to make! We have everything you need. If you have a favorite glue gun, you are welcome to use it. There will be a limit of 6 people for this activity so be sure to sign up early!
