Have Items for the Resale Shop?

If you have any donations for the Resale Shop, there are plastic totes at the entrance to put your items into. Tuesdays and Wednesdays are the best days to drop things off, but any day is OK. Please call Kendra Koehler at (419) 341-2725 after dropping stuff off so she can contact other volunteers who will get them inside out of the weather. Thank you.

Ford Trimotor Restoration Progress

Jody Brausch, Board of Directors for the Trimotor Heritage Foundation recently gave an update on the progress being made restoring the Ford Trimotor at the Liberty Aviation Museum in Port Clinton. The Trimotor is expected to be completed and will fly this summer.

The Perfect Island In Winter

Given the lack of people and traffic on the island we have come up with several ideas to make life simpler and less expensive for islanders in the winter, First, change all the stop signs to YIELD signs. Second, do away with the solid yellow no passing lines on our streets. Third, make Delaware Ave. two ways in the winter. Fourth, police should not give traffic tickets, just warnings.

Bob Adamov To Be At Boat Show

Bob Adamov, Put-in-Bay mystery writer, be at the Boat Show on Friday, January 17th, and Saturday, Jan. 18th, from 11 a.m. until 2 p.m. selling and signing his books in the Put-in-Bay Pavilion.

Put-in-Bay Makes Lists

WorldAtlas.com posted that Put-in-Bay made their lists of 7 Best Lakeside Towns in Ohio and 8 Towns In The Great Lakes That Were Frozen In Time. On another Internet list it was one of the 11 Most Relaxing Ohio Towns.

The topic of widening Delaware and/or Hartford Avenues came up during recent discussions between Village officials. Would you be in favor?

Kowalski Automotive will be closed on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays for the duration of the Winter.

A Big Thank You
