The Perry Group wants you to know it’s time to purchase your tickets to watch this year’s fireworks from the top of the monument. Friends of Perry’s Victory and International Peace Memorial (The Perry Group, Put-in-Bay) have 80 tickets available at $100 a piece to sell for viewing the 2025 July 4th fireworks from the observation deck (317 ft) of Perry’s Victory Monument. This is a once in a lifetime opportunity. Go to www.theperrygroup.org/events to buy your tickets before they’re gone. Ticket holders will be invited to a special private reception prior to the fireworks.

The National Park Service recently awarded a contract to restore the upper plaza at Perry’s Victory and International Peace Memorial. This significant investment from the Great American Outdoors Act (GAOA) Legacy Restoration Fund will address critical infrastructure and safety needs and improve the visitor experience.

The long-needed $20+ million project will rehabilitate the upper and lower plaza areas, tackle essential structural and waterproofing problems, enhance accessibility, and renovate restrooms. The work will also include improvements to interior spaces and some building systems, all while carefully preserving the site’s historic integrity.

According to National Park Service Acting Superintendent Mary Pat Doorley, it will be at least two more years before this July 4th viewing opportunity is available again due to the construction on the upper plaza that starts in the spring of 2026. The monument grounds, visitor center and interpretive activities will continue to be open but unfortunately the column and access to the viewing deck will be closed. There are 80 tickets on sale June 1st for $100 each. Go to www.theperrygroup.org/events to purchase your tickets online.
