Mark G: “We went to South Bass Island for a day of fun. With The Keys next to the boat dock, we chose to eat there, which proved to be a great idea! Our food and drinks were great (I had the bacon wrapped scallops…they were terrific, as was my salad and onion rings!!!). Having finished our food, we were just sitting there, when The Kenny Channels Duo were setting up on the stage. The music started, and there was my little grand daughter, dancing in front of the stage! She was invited onto the stage and sang with TKCD! It was so cool for her (well, us too) to get to do that…something we will always remember and cherish. A BIG THANK YOU to The Kenny Channels Duo for great entertainment AND giving our little Ariana her first “big stage” experience, AND The Keys for a great dining experience!”
Susie K: “On our first day at the bay we had lunch at the Keys. My husband and I are watching our waistlines so we wanted seafood. I had the delightful experience of trying their mahi-mahi tacos. They were so delicious I went back and had them the second day of our trip. My husband’s grouper was excellent as well. We have made this our go to place on the island for several years now. Since we can’t get to Key West this is the next best thing. And no chickens running around.”
Bill A: “We ate at the keys on the 4th of July. The atmosphere was great, right on the water. They had a singer in the outdoor area who was very good. The frozen drinks were great. I had both a Miami Vice and a Bushwacker and they were both very good. Since it was our first time on Lake Erie we had to try the perch so my wife, daughter and I split 2 perch platters and there was more than enough food and the perch was delicious. The service was very good, especially for it being the evening of the 4th of July. We did not stay but they were getting ready to do fireworks display by the monument and this would have been the perfect place to view.”
